Frequently Asked Questions
What is a giclee?
Giclee (pronounced zhee-clay) is a high quality printing process in which the artist's original
painting is digitally reproduced using state of the art technology and
the finest inks, papers, and canvas. The giclee printmaker and artist
oversee every detail of the reproduction, resulting in a stunning
display of color that highlights even the most subtle brush stroke of
the original artwork.
What's a triptych?
A set of three associated paintings displayed side by side. We have some beauties for you in both the music and dance genre.
Is special care required?
Yes! All printed matter will fade in time especially when
kept in direct sunlight. But your giclee has been printed with fade resistant inks
on acid free water color paper, assuring you of a lifetime of brilliant colors.
Do we mat and frame?
Sorry, no.
If I buy the original, do you stop printing giclees of that image?
No, although the originals
are of course available to be purchased, giclees will be available for those who want more
affordable art.
Are the giclee prints signed?
Yes, most definitely.... the signing comes after your print is carefully
looked over and authorized to be sent to you. A Certificate of Authorization will be sent
with the giclee to assure you that all care has been taken to present to you the best print possible. Furthermore the certificate assures that it is signed by the artist and is authentic,
which increases its value.
Are these limited editions?
Absolutely. Each painting's detail info lets you know the number of prints being made available.
How, where and when do you ship?
We ship UPS Ground to the 48 contiguous states in the USA. For outside this area, or for faster shipping options, please contact us for specific shipping costs. As soon as the
print is published and I sign it, then it takes about 10 days for you to receive your print.
Can you tell me about yourself?
I have been an artist my whole life. I'm inspired by light and shadows
as well as human interaction and the passions we all feel. I hope that you can feel them through
my work and be part of my feelings.
What if I have a question that is not listed here?
Feel free to contact me and I'll do my best to answer any
questions you may have.
